Georgie can run but she can't hide from the man who stalks her dreams and throws her ordered life into a tailspin.
Emotional entanglement is not on Georgie Martin's to do list. She has turned her back on her sophisticated Sydney lifestyle, determined to renovate her parents old flower farm and her shattered ego. However, the challenges prove more than she bargained for until a madcap scheme comes to fruition and the Protea Boys are born. The team of efficient, well-tapered six-packs solve her farming problems, but their leader presents a different kind of challenge - their first spark of attraction ignites a passion she cannot ignore.
Tom Morgan likes his women "pretty and entertaining," not "efficient and driven," but the threat of being co-opted as a wine waiter or worse, chef in his brother's restaurant encourages him to take up what he sees as the highly amusing challenge of managing the Protea Boys. It is the perfect distraction while he waits for a new assignment - or so he thinks until he realizes he has found the one woman he cannot run away from.
Years after leaving Cayman because of her notorious serial killer mother, Angel Mason returns as an inspector on the police force. On the twentieth anniversary of her mother’s capture, someone is murdered in the same manner as her mother’s victims.
To complicate matters more, Angel’s old flame, Bren McDougal, is assigned to help her with capturing the killer, and soon it’s undeniably clear that the passion between them is hotter than ever.
As the killer repeats her mother’s deadly pattern, Angel must face the terrifying truth she’d been hiding for twenty years.
What people are saying
“Elke Feuer skillfully keeps you guessing in this twisty-turny romantic suspense story about a Cayman investigator tracking a copycat killer-one imitating the crimes of a her own serial-killer mother. Suspenseful and satisfying!” ~ Francine LaSala, author of The Girl, the Gold Tooth, & Everything.
Angel Mason sat on the edge of her bed and squished the thick caramel carpet between her toes, assurance the deadly grip of another nightmare was gone.
On the nightstand her phone vibrated, startling her. It was Dustin Williams, Chief Superintendent. The time, 6:30 a.m., flashed in red from her clock. She cleared her throat and prayed there was no trace of the bottle of vodka she’d finished off the night before in her voice.
“Dead body at Galleon Bay.” He never minced words.
“Some tourist die in their sleep?”
“No, looks like she was murdered.”
Brittle silence hung in the air as the words echoed in her mind like a broken record.
“I’ll be there in half an hour,” she stammered.
“Good, I want this dealt with quickly. There hasn’t been a tourist murdered on the island since…”
“Since Meredith,” she finished for him.
“Yeah, and we remember how that turned out,” he said dryly.
The phone imprinted her hand as she squeezed it. No one had forgotten how it turned out, least of all her—no matter how hard she tried.
“I want you to collect the evidence,” Williams said.
“What? Why?” She didn’t normally question his decisions, but she hadn’t worked in forensics since she had been promoted to inspector.
“You’re the most experienced scene of crime officer we have.”
“I’ll take care of it, sir,” Angel assured him.
“Johnson, Sanchez, and Ebanks are already there controlling the traffic and crowd,” he said, his voice sounding miles away.
The phone went dead without a goodbye, not that she expected one. He didn’t converse beyond necessity, but she never took it personally. He was like that with everyone.
She went to the bathroom, took out the bottle of painkillers on the second shelf of the cabinet on the wall, and downed two.
As the pills made their way to her queasy stomach, she searched the cloud in her head for how she had gotten to bed last night. Leftover Chinese and drifting to sleep during the nightly news in a vodka-induced haze was all she remembered.
Horrifying screams and blood splattered across her hand paraded before her, remaining trickles from her dream, and the smell of blood filled her nose.
“No!” She gripped the edges of the porcelain sink to steady herself and clear her mind of the images. Her dreams were becoming more frequent and the vivid details lingering long after she awoke.
She let out the breath she was holding and splashed cold water on her face. The reflection in the mirror was an unwanted reminder that she couldn’t escape her heritage or the history that came with it, and there was nothing she could do about it.
Once she showered and got dressed, she pulled her hair into a ponytail. She walked down the short beige corridor to the living room and grabbed her keys off the hook on the wall. The cool morning air blew against her makeup-free face when she opened the door. She inhaled the salty air, and watched the sun peaking over the horizon of the ocean. They calmed her nerves as she made her way down the stairs and to her car. Starting the engine, she pulled out of the parking lot and towards the hotel where Meredith, her mother, had worked before she was arrested for murdering the guests.
Welcome to Australia, Jane! I dying to hear about The Right Side of Mr Wrong ... the shoes had me from the moment I saw them!
Thanks for having me on your blog today Téa, it’s a great place to be! I think this is my first Australian blog stop ever!
Today I thought I’d talk about Edgerton Manor, the (imaginary) setting for The Right Side Of Mr Wrong...
The inspiration for Edgerton Manor came about by accident. I’m in UK, and one summer we were traveling from Derbyshire where we live to my mum-in-law’s house down in Dorset. We were intending to visit some gardens half way to break the four hour journey but unfortunately we got caught up in a summer festival traffic jam. So we changed our plans, took a diversion, and ended up instead at a small stately home in the Cotswolds called Snowshill Manor.(http://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/snowshill-manor)
Originally, I’d intended to set the novel in a Scottish castle, but as the story developed Brando needed to nip back and forth to London, and Scotland was too far away for this. Then I remembered our lovely afternoon at Snowshill, and realised the Cotswolds with it’s honey coloured stone, its green undulating landscape and it’s fast routes to London would provide the perfect backdrop for Brando. The kind of rambling country house you find in the Cotswolds somehow fitted the characters and story much better than an isolated castle too. I settled on sash windows, dreamed up an orangerie, ordered a ballroom, tossed in the perfect parkland setting, grabbed a treelined driveway, and Edgerton Manor was born! I hope you enjoy reading about it!
Now I'm even more fascinated those pink shoes in an orangerie ... I'm off to pick up a copy! Thanks for popping Down Under!

Book Four, BAD PENNY is also a secret, I have no idea about this one and there's no release date as yet! Ann's such a tease! In the meantime here's the blurb for TWO FOR ONE ....
and if you scroll down a bit further you'll find an excerpt ...oh and the buy link!
Nothing is going Lizzie’s way. Her sex life is unsatisfying, her job sucks and she has more debt than she needs thanks to her loser brother. Against her better judgment, she lets her best friend sign her up to be auctioned off at a high-rolling venue called The Club. Agreeing to a weekend of adventurous sex with a stranger is one thing, but being bought by the brothers who own The Club means Lizzie is up for a weekend beyond her wildest fantasies.
Ryan and Lizzie hit it off, in bed and out, but it’s his quiet brother, Trace, that has her heart pounding and her panties in a twist. But is Lizzie what Trace needs? Having been burned before, will he take a chance on what his heart is telling him or trust his instincts and send her home after their weekend is over?
Has that got your attention? Here's the excerpt!
“That can’t be legal, surely. And even if it was, no. No way am I going to let you auction me off to the highest bidder for a weekend of sex.” Lizzie sat stunned on the couch, her gaze on Bel.
“Do you have a better idea? There is no way you can lay your hands on that sort of money in a hurry anywhere else, not unless you become a drug mule or something totally gross.” Bel pouted her lips in distaste.
“And being sold for sex isn’t on your gross-out meter?”
“No, of course not. Sex is natural anyway, and you’re always complaining you never get anything worth talking about. Why not use your God-given charms to earn a decent living. It’s not like you have to do it all the time, but this auction is a big deal.” Bel ran a finger down a long, slim leg, feigning disinterest, and then looked up with a smile. “All the high rollers come out to play, and there are some very hot guys amongst them too, I might add.”
“Have you done it, sold yourself I mean?” Lizzie clasped her hands in her lap.
“Once or twice. I make enough money running the bar, but how do you think I got this flash condo? I needed a deposit and my boss’s said it was fine.”
Lizzie licked her lips and blinked rapidly.
“Ooh, you’re thinking about it.” Bel laughed and clapped her hands.
“I can’t think about it, look at me. Who in their right frigging mind would pay for sex with me?” She self-consciously tucked a lank strand of hair behind her ear.
“Let me get the guys to do a makeover for you. Allen is always asking if he can get his hands on you.” Bel rested her chin on her hand and watched Lizzie.
“But I can’t let him do me over. I just can’t.”
“Why not? Come on, Lizzie. There is no one out there with better taste than Allan. Let him have a go, please? I’ll even advance you the makeover cash.”
Lizzie sat twisting her hands together while her mind raced. “I don't feel comfortable anyone seeing me looking like this. Those makeover guys are so trendy and I'm not.”
“Exactly why I want them to work on you.”
“How much money are we talking about making here?” She risked a quick glance at Bel, kicking herself when she saw the satisfied smile on her girlfriends face.
“I got twelve-thousand dollars the first time and nine the last. A fresh face always brings in more money though.”
“But even with the right clothes, I know I wouldn’t look as good as you do.”
“I hate the way you don’t have any confidence, honey. Just let me call Allan, please? You don’t have to put in for the auction just yet. You have a couple of days to think about it, although I think you should just dive in with both feet.”
“Yeah, you would. I though, am just a little bit more cautious than you are. What if I get a weirdo who wants all kinds of kink, or someone whose idea of a good time is hurting me?” Evil thoughts were now racing through her mind as to why this wasn’t such a good idea.
“I can tell you for a fact no one will hurt you. My boss runs an elite club with clients who have tastes…how shall I say…a little different to those a normal escort agency provides for. Their lifestyles don’t allow them to explore their needs the same way most people would in a normal relationship, hence the Club’s service. They are all vetted and known to Trace, my boss. He makes them pay a huge bond, and if any of the girls get so much as a bruise they lose it and she gets a bonus. But hey, a bit of kink may be what you want anyway. You set the rules at the very start.” Bel smiled and raised an eyebrow at Lizzie. “Here is your chance to try out all of your wildest dreams.”
