Only One Complaint!
I’ve just finished Blind Lust by Annie Seaton, actually I read it in one sitting I couldn’t put it down and I love it. It is such a joyful story it’s still making me smile. Just enough paranormal to intrigue me but not so much to make me roll my eyes. And I couldn’t believe there would be a happy ever after but when…no! That’s giving the story away. I have only one complaint – it was too short. Can we have a sequel to this one too please, Ms Seaton?
Ann B Harrison has tagged me in The Lucky Seven. Thanks for the nomination, Anne. Here we go!
Here’s how the challenge works:
Post seven lines from an unpublished work of fiction by following these rules:
Go to page 7 or 77 in your current manuscript (fiction or non-fiction)
Go to line 7
Post the next 7 lines or sentences on your blog as they are (no cheating, please!)
Tag 7 other authors to do the same....here it is!
“Where will the race be held?”
“No woman can win against a man.”
“Who is going to judge the race?”
“The old man is as rich as Croesus.”
Leaning back Melanion listened, a curl of amusement twisting his lips at the excited babble. Never mind who would judge the race more importantly why would anyone be so rash and to risk their life? And since when did a female have any choice in the matter?
And I tag…
